Before the official launch of the Redmi Note 9 Series, a YouTuber published several live photos of Redmi Note 9 Pro. Xiaomi is going to launch it’s highly anticipated Redmi Note 9 Series on the 12th of March 2020. The recently released photos show a punch-hole display positioned at the top-center position of the smartphone.
Confirmed Specifications of the Device
According to rumors, along with Redmi Note 9 Pro and the standard Redmi Note 9, Xiaomi will launch a Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. This will mark the first Max Series smartphone on Redmi line up. The leaked images suggest that the upcoming smartphone will carry a 6.64-inch display. Besides, the backside photo reveals that the Pro version is going to have a quad-camera setup.
The upcoming series will carry the nearly extinct 3.5 mm jack. For faster charging and data transfer, Redmi is offering USB-C port, which is great news. The right side of the smartphone has a MicroSD slot and a power button. On the bottom side, the phone has its only loudspeaker.
Processor and Battery
Though these photos confirm the majority of the hardware specifications, several aspects are still under great mystery. Rumors suggest that Redmi might go with MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset for its latest offerings. But, on the other hand, several other reports suggest that the Redmi Note 9 Pro might have the Snapdragon 720G chipset. Everything will be clear once the company revealed the specification tomorrow.
Redmi Note 9 Pro might have a 30W fast charging option. The combination of 30 W fast charging with the TYPE-C port will work wonders for such a low-priced smartphone. Xiaomi is going with an online event to launch these devices instead of a physical; launch event, owing to the effects of coronavirus. The company did not offer any sorts of hints for the cost of the upcoming devices.
