Xiaomi is launching multiple smartphones in the first quarter of 2020. The march month is quite eventful for the company, as it launched its Redmi Note 9 Pro last week and Redmi K30 Pro, yesterday. The Rapid lunch indicates that the company is addressing the demand of its customer.
The Growing Demand for Compact Smartphones
In recent days, the smartphone is becoming bigger and heavier. Though most of the customers are quite ok with the changes, there is also a customer base who prefer a compact-sized flagship kind of smartphone. In the recent market, there is not even a single compact smartphone. Therefore people have no other options but to buy the three years old iPhone 8. To address the growing demand, Apple is bringing it’s iPhone SE 2 aka iPhone 9 into the Global market, very soon.
Mi 6 VS iPhone 9
According to a report, the director of Xiaomi recently revealed that the company’s old flagship Mi 6 is coming to the Global market with a refreshed specifications. When the Mi 6 launched in the global market, it had the then-flagship Snapdragon 835 processor. Xiaomi either exchange it with a good 700 series or 800 series processor. The phone is going to retain its compact structure. But, unlike the previous generation, it will have the latest punch-hole display instead of the massive bezels. If the leaks are true, then the phone will directly compete with Apple’s upcoming iPhone 9. But, it remains to see how the smartphone will compete with the A13 powered iPhone 9.
Last week, a report confirmed that Xiaomi replaced its domestic rival Huawei as the third biggest smartphone manufacturer in the world. The launch of such a popular brand of smartphones will further cement its name in the place.
