Xiaomi Launches Four Major Products Yesterday

Yesterday, Xiaomi announced a number of products including its flagship Redmi K30 Pro smartphone. The Chinese tech manufacturer launched a 98 inch smart TV and a smart speaker under the Redmi brand. Besides, it also launched a smart projector in the event.

Redmi Touch Screen Speaker 8 in Details

The speaker is having a touch screen feature and looks quite similar to the Amazon echo show first generation. But on the other hand, the operating system used in the device is similar to that of Google speakers.

The Redmi touch screen speaker 8 is having an 8 inches display with a whopping 178 degrees viewing angle. The speaker has a camera setup, which able to receive video calls from the Mi ecosystem. The company also claims that the OS in the speaker can able to identify the voice of your family members. The integration of artificial intelligence with the speaker will help it to recognize the children and successfully changed its interface. Therefore, the speaker will automatically activate the Parental Control on the device. The smart speaker is going to be available at 349 Yuan in Mainland China.

The Smart Projector in Details

The recently launched Xiaomi projector looks like a Bluetooth speaker. The projector weighs around 1.3 kg and supports up to 1080 p resolution. However, the company claims that you can play 4K videos with the projector, as well. The projector can project up to 120 inches of screen size. The device has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and it runs on the Android 9TV operating system. Therefore, one can access any android application on this projector. The smart projector is priced at 599 USD.

The company has not confirmed whether these products will come to India or not.
