Multiple rumors are confirming the detailed specifications of the upcoming budget pixel phone, Pixel 4a. Recently, a Cuban YouTuber released a 6 minutes long video on the upcoming device.
Specifications of Pixel 4a
The upcoming device will have a plastic back; therefore, it will not support the wireless charging technology. Besides, the backside has a fingerprint scanner and a single camera lens and a built-in flash set up. Leaks further suggest that the lone camera will be a 12 MP shooter.
Unlike the flagship Pixel 4, the front portion of the display looks quite modern. Google is opting for a punch-hole display screen with its budget offering. The phone has thin bezels around the display, which looks uniform. The punch hole, which carries the 8 MP front camera, placed at the top left corner of the screen. The Pixel 4a has a 5.81 inches screen with FHD+ resolution. Besides, it has a 60 Hz refresh rate, and an impressive pixel density of 443 PPI.
Like Pixel 3a, the phone retains its headphone jack, which is commendable. The upcoming device will also feature USB TYPE-C port at the bottom side for faster data transfer.
Internal Specification
The Pixel 4a is powered by the Snapdragon 730 series chipset to power up the smartphone. Besides, the phone will have 6 GB of Ram and 64 GB of internal storage. But, Google might launch multiple devices with different RAM + ROM combinations. If you are planning to increase the existing storage by external card, here is news to disappoint you. The upcoming budget offering does not support external storage. On the battery front, the phone has a 3080mAh battery.
Rumors suggest that Google is planning to sell the upcoming device at around 500 USD, which seems overpriced at the moment.
