After Xiaomi, this time, Oppo has entered into the smartwatch industry with its brand new OPPO Watch. The company announces it while making the announcement of its new Oppo Find X2 series. The new smartwatch comes with some high-end specs and look that have made it a premium looking wearable. Now, let’s have a closer look at the Oppo Watch’s specs and features.
Specs and features of the new Oppo Watch
Talking about the display, it comes with a curved design AMOLED display. The display supports 326 PPI. The users can buy the watch having a 1.6-inch as well as a 1.91-inch display. On the other hand, the watch supports minimal bezels, which looks really premium. Speaking about the casing, it features a premium looking aluminum body along with two side buttons. Those buttons can be used to navigate through the interface.
The watch can track heart rate, sleep activities, and different types of physical exercises. Furthermore, the Oppo Watch also supports a very uncommon feature, called ECG- Electrocardiogram functionality.
Hardware and software
The watch comes equipped with two SoCs. The primary processor is the Snapdragon Wear 2500, and the co-processor is the Apollo 3. In terms of storage, it offers 8GB of internal storage capacity. Now, speaking about the software, the Oppo Watch runs on ColorOS based on Android. To enable the calling feature, it supports eSIM. Moreover, there is also Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and GPS. Remember that the watch will only work with the smartphones that run on Android 6.0 and above.
The company has not mentioned about the battery capacity; however, it can last for 40 hours in normal mode. But in power saving mode, you can use it for 21 days on a single charge. Another best thing the battery is it supports VOOC Charging Technology.
