Malyagiri Movie Review: An Emotional Journey of a Son’s Love for His Father

Malyagiri(Kahani Aarambh) is an Odia Movie, with the lead roles of Babusan Mohanty, Shivani Sangita, Amlan Das, Suryamayi Mohapatra. It is an action pack with some drama and romance you can see. It is doing well at the box office with the direction of Prithvi Raj Pattnaik. How can we forget the writing of the Malyagiri Odia Movie? The storytelling of the movie is gripping, written by Amit Kumar Das.

Plot:

Babusan Mohanty is the main lead role of “Parshu.” Parshu lives with his parents in his village. Everything is going well, but one day, Parshu’s father gets ill. Parshu sees him to the doctor. The doctor says he has to perform a surgery. When Parshu finds out about the medical bills, he is devastated. They are a low-income family. He thinks about where he can get money for surgery. Then he comes to know about some Ayurvedic leaves which he can find only on the top of Malyagiri Mountain. His journey of love for his father begins.

He climbs the mountain to find Ayurvedic herbs. But, it is a complex task to do. The mountain has all sorts of challenges, like thieves and criminals, some wild animals that are waiting to harm him, and some natural disasters that he has to survive. It is a long and difficult journey for him. He has to come back soon for his father. So, will he survive and find the Ayurvedic Leafs? Will he come back soon? Will his father die before he comes back? You can get every answer to these questions by seeing the movie.

The cinematography of Malyagiri movie is a masterpiece that can help the Ollywood Industry to grow. The makeup artists have done a tremendous job. The lighting, plots, locations, and everything in this movie are on point. The ending of this movie shows that the next part will be back in no time. Amlan Das, Mihir Das’s son, proves that he still carries his father’s legacy in the acting. What about Babusan Mohanty? Well, what to say? He never fails his fans and followers. You saw him in the “Daman” movie. He is a versatile actor. The female actors against the hero add some charm to the film.

Don’t forget “Dhulia Janda” and “Chamada Baja” songs. You won’t sit still after listening to these songs. The theme song is an amazing work of “Nabs and Saroj” and “Gaurav Anand.”
