Pushkara is a marvellous creation of the Ollywood Film Industry with the direction of Subhranshu Das. It is his first debut film as a director, and he has done it so precisely. The movie is based on the novel “Nada Bindu.” It showcases Odisha’s traditions and beliefs. Lead role actors “Sabyasachi Mishra” and “Supriya Nayak” have done their career’s best performances. They beautifully showcase their roles in this movie.
Plot:
Sabyasachi Mishra played the role of Nilakantha. His journey in an Odia family from childhood to death depicts how Odisha’s traditions tell a story of life and death. You will get to see a post-death ritual performed in Puri, Jagannath Dham, Odisha, that fades away as modernization appears in Hindu culture. How Nilakantha is going through difficult times from childhood as “Pushkara.” He comes across a girl who is played by Supriya Nayak and falls in love. Their love journey faces many challenges. The movie is done in Puri.
The writer Shankar Tripathy won everyone’s hearts with his writing skills and how he presents authentic Odia Cultures to the world. Other characters in the movie “Pintu Nanda,” “Ashrumochan Mohanty,” “Tribhuvan Panda,” and more Odia actors have done a tremendous job with the lead role actors. The cinematography, storyline, and BGM are a hit. All songs in the movie are by Bhibuti Bhusan Gadanayak. Every cast member contributed to their role in Pushkara.
