The Uttarkashi Tunnel Rescue Operation to save 41 workers stuck in the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarakhand is facing many problems. The machines that are needed to dig the tunnel are having trouble reaching the site because of bad roads.
The workers have been trapped in the tunnel since November 12, when a part of the tunnel collapsed. They are working on the Chardham All Weather Project, which will connect four holy places for Hindus. The workers are getting food through pipes and are in good health. The rescue team hopes to bring them out safely today.
