State Election Commission, Odisha: More than 4 Lakhs people Join the Voter List

The State Election Commission has asked all the people to use the last chance on 25th November 2023 Saturday, to check their names in the voter list at the booths and apply for any changes or additions to the voter list through the booth officers.

Before the voter list update process started, the booth officers visited the houses in August 2023. They had added about 3,80,000 new voters and corrected more than 2,80,000 voter cards in August and September 2023. These voters will get their new voter cards soon.

Till now, more than 4,25,000 people have applied to join the voter list, and about 1,80,000 people have used it to correct their voter cards.

The voter list update process started on 27th October 2023 and will end on 9th December 2023. You can apply for any changes or additions to the voter list during this time.

Three chances are already over and the last chance will be on 25th November 2023 Saturday. The booth officers will be at the booths on that day to take the applications.

The CEO of Odisha has thanked the booth officers and other election workers for their work during the voter list update process.
