On the 1st of April, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo revealed a brand new smartphone called Oppo Ace Infinity. The recently announced smartphone comes with a FreeVOOC air-recharging technology. The charging technology is entirely new to the smartphone industry. By using this technology, you can charge your Oppo Ace Infinity device wirelessly, within 10 meters of the radius.
The innovation from Oppo can be a milestone for the smartphone charging industry. The company claims that the users can get an impressive charging speed of 5 watts to 10 watts from the FreeVOOC technology. Oppo also released a short clip to explain the brand new technology.
The Mechanism of FreeVOOC Technology
The video reveals that the rim of the upcoming Oppo Ace Infinity contains a Free VOOC coil. There are as many as three layers, a conversion layer, absorption layer, and conductive material that helps to keep the battery fully charged every time.
The announcement of such advanced technology on the 1st of April creates doubt over its credibility. On the microblogging site Twitter, several people termed the recent announcement as a prank, but the same is not the case here. Oppo usually takes innovation quite seriously. The company offers fast charging support, on most of its budget smartphones. In fact, Oppo, along with Vivo, started the fast charging trend in the smartphone industry.
The Upcoming Trend Material is Here!
The company termed FreeVOOC technology as the successor of the current wireless charging. The technology looks practical and convenient than the current wireless charging. As a result, many smartphone manufacturers are expected to adopt similar technology on their devices.
However, the company did not reveal any specification details about the upcoming Oppo Ace Infinity. But, it seems like Oppo will launch the smartphone in the month of April.
