In China, Xiaomi announced the K30 series during the last leg of 2019. The midrange smartphone had Snapdragon 765G processor. Besides, K30 had a 64 MP primary sensor and a screen having a 120 Hz refresh rate. Recently, the company officially announced the Pro variant and released a teaser of the device.
More about the Device
The latest teaser of the smartphone confirms that the smartphone will have the flagship Snapdragon 865 processor. However, the company did not mention the potential release date of the device. But, recently, Xiaomi announced several key specifications and release date of the upcoming K30 Pro.
The recent post suggests that the Chinese manufacturer will launch the device on the 24th of March in China. As the phone has Snapdragon 865 chipset, it is going to support 5G. Lu Weibing, the president of Redmi, confirmed that the upcoming device would have the latest LPDDR5 RAM and USB 3.1 storage.
The Presence of 3.5 mm Jack
From the backside, Redmi K30 Pro looks quite similar to the OnePlus 7T. The phone has a quad-camera setup, placed in a circular shape camera module. Unlike most of the flagships, the Redmi K30 Pro will have a 3.5 mm jack for audio output.
Rumours also suggest that the upcoming device will have a Zoom variant, but the detailed specification is still unknown. But, as the name suggests, the Zoom version might have a better camera and zoom-in capability. Like the Samsung S20 Ultra, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom might integrate the digital and optical zoom.
The company has not revealed the other specification about the device yet. But it safe to assume that Redmi will release at least a couple of new teasers before the actual launch of the device.
