The Uttarkashi Tunnel Rescue Operation to save 41 workers stuck in the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarakhand is facing many problems. The machines that are needed to dig the tunnel are having trouble reaching the site because of bad roads.
The workers have been trapped in the tunnel since November 12, when a part of the tunnel collapsed. They are working on the Chardham All Weather Project, which will connect four holy places for Hindus. The workers are getting food through pipes and are in good health. The rescue team hopes to bring them out safely today.

A. The rescue team used a special device to scan the tunnel and found that there was no heavy object blocking the way for 5 meters.
B. A team from Delhi brought a device called ground-penetrating radar (GPR). The team used the device with the help of two NDRF members inside the tunnel.
C. The Uttarkashi Tunnel Rescue Operation also used a machine from America to drill the tunnel, but the machine got stuck. The machine is called an auger machine, and it can dig through hard rocks.
D. The rescue team will use stretchers with wheels to take the workers out one by one. The stretchers will go through the pipes, and the NDRF members will help the workers.
E. The rescue team is also putting pipes inside the tunnel and joining them together. The pipes will make a passage for the workers to come out. The rescue team has placed 46 meters of pipe so far.
F. The chief minister of Uttarakhand has asked the rescue team to work fast and carefully. He has also asked the contractors of the project to take responsibility for the accident.
The workers are from different parts of India, and many of their families have come to the site. They are waiting for the news of their relatives and praying for their safety. People are praying across India for the protection of the 41 workers.
