Recently at Young India Face, we decided to talk with him and learn his mantra for success. Odisha and young India face are always proud of this young boy for his positive influence on people.
Let’s have a look what is his views:
1. How did you first get started as an influencer? What motivated you to pursue this career path?
I did not decide to become an influencer. I have been writing and creating content on LinkedIn since 2016. It’s consistency that made me have a good fan following. LinkedIn VP recently announced me as the Top creator to follow. I started creating content on Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
2. Could you share some of the biggest challenges you faced as an influencer? How did you overcome them?
A major challenge is having a creative block and not getting more ideas. I take a break and read off-topic books and content to get inspiration.
3. What strategies do you use to engage and connect with your audience? How do you maintain their interest and loyalty?
I do AMA sessions every week. I try to DM my audience, talk to them at least once and get to know them.
4. Can you share a memorable experience or campaign you’ve worked on with a brand? What made it successful or rewarding for you?
I lead marketing at PayTm Insider and worked with Rohan Joshi on a super viral campaign. I made a typo campaign where people will get the wrong notification on their mobile app every week.
People started taking screenshots of that notification and shared on social media.
5. How do you approach brand collaborations and partnerships? What factors do you consider before working with a brand?
Do I agree with the brand and the product? Is the brand ethical? Does the brand give me creative freedom to create content?
If these are yes – I proceed; else, I don’t care about money. I never mis-sell my audience.
6. Looking ahead, what are your goals and aspirations as an influencer? Are there any new projects or initiatives you’re excited about?
I have launched the Odia page on YouTube and Instagram. The idea is to make Odisha smarter. I will upload startup tips, business hacks, marketing, and philosophical concepts in Odia.
