Kapil Sharma, a household name for his TV show, is one of the top taxpayers in 2024. According to Fortune India, Kapil has paid 26 crores in FY 24. However, Shah Rukh Khan tops the list with 92 crores. The ‘GOAT’ movie star Thalapathy Vijay comes second with 80 crores. Similarly, Salman Bhai and the legendary actor Amitabh Bachha came third and fourth with 75 and 71 crores, respectively. The king of Indian Cricket, Virat Kohli, has paid 66 crores in tax and secured fifth position on the list.
About Kapil Sharma
Kapil Sharma was from a middle-class family. After his father died at a young age, he came into the film industry. He won his first comedy reality show, Comedy Circus and inaugurated his successful career. Because of this win, he started his show “Comedy Nights with Kapil” and invited Bollywood celebrities. Above all, his career boosted with this show and he became a household name. His great sense of humour and relatable factor made him famous overnight.

Current status of Kapil Sharma
His show “The Great Kapil Sharma Show” is now on Netflix. He delivered his first-ever comedy special on Netflix with the title “I am not done yet!”. Zwigato, a movie about a delivery boy was led by him with a female director, Nandita Das which showed a different side of his art. In conclusion, he is a great artist with utmost humbleness.
