The Bihar Congress Party is eager to reestablish relations with the RJD following a humiliating defeat of the party’s candidates in recent by-elections. Akhilesh Prasad Singh met Lalu Prasad in Delhi on January 18 to get his thoughts.
The RJD president requested them to wait till January 28 to finalize the seat-sharing agreement.
The party’s high command should reconsider the plan to join forces with the RJD. It has always pursued opportunistic politics, demoralizing Congress workers. Ajay Kumar Singh stated that the party had strong winning prospects due to dedicated party workers.
