Actor Vikas Sethi died on Sunday due to cardiac arrest. According to his wife Jhanvi Sethi, he felt uneasy and dehydrated during his last hours. They had travelled to Nashik from Mumbai because of family functions. However, on the way, Vikas felt uncomfortable and dehydrated. After they reached their parents’ house, he had vomiting and loose motions. But he didn’t want to go to the hospital. That’s why, his family members called a doctor home. Unfortunately, the actor died in his sleep.
On Monday, his funerals were held according to Hindu traditions in Mumbai. During his last rites, his mother broke down. Since his death, his wife shared an emotional post on Instagram on Monday Morning. It says, “ In the loving memory of Vikas Sethi…, With immense sorrow, we inform you about the passing of our beloved Vikas Sethi, who left us all on the 8th of September 2024. The final rites will be carried out according to the Hindu Traditions on 9th September. Your presence, prayers and support, in this trying time would be deeply appreciated. Regards, Sethi Family.” She captioned it as “Om Shanti” (prayer emoji).
A lot of actors and other personalities from the TV industry also joined his last rites in Mumbai.
