Tamil actor, critic, producer, and writer Venkat Subha passes away succumbed to Covid at 12:48 am, 29th May 2021. He was being treated at a private hospital in Chennai for the past ten days, as per the reports. However, on Saturday, he stopped reacting to the medicines.
His dear friend and producer Amma creations, T Siva, shared the devastating news with his followers. Many other celebrities also showed their condolences on the said platform, including Prakash Raj and Radhikaa Sarathkumar.
The pandemic has taken from us many gems and the second wave are even more deadly, constantly adding the surge in the number of positive patient cases. Unfortunately, Venkat Subha was another one to fall prey to the deadly disease.
In fact, over the last few months, we all saw many cases of COVID-19 deaths in the Tamil films fraternity or within the families of Kollywood actors. So, it was sad to hear that another gem lost his life because of it.
His Career
Now talking about his career, the popular actor appeared in many Tamil soap operas as the main lead. Moreover, he was also a part of famous Kollywood films, including Azhagiya Theeye (2004), V Priya’s Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005), and Mohan’s Mozhi (2007), among others. Also, he was a film reviewer for the YouTube Channel Touring Talkies.
T Siva shared the sad news
His friend and producer T Siva shared the sad news of the popular actor Venkat Subha passing away. His tweet was in Tamil; when translated, it said, with extreme sorrow, I would like to share with everyone that my friend, an excellent thinker, writer, creator, and actor Venkat left us all for his journey to heaven at 12:48 am.
Radhikaa Sarathkumar shared in her tweet that she was very sad to say her last goodbye to Venkat. She added, she had been associated with his wife Subaa for a long time now in Radaan.
Moreover, she said, the popular actor was a very kind, powerful thinker who has known him for several years. It was heartbreaking to see how Subaa fought for her husband’s recovery but lost the fight of life.
Prakash Raj also showed his condolences sharing that it was painful and helpless to lose a friend and family. He also thanked him for being a part of his journey and prayed that he must rest in peace.
Since Venkat was suffering from COVID-19, the Chennai officials cremated his mortal remains while his family members were present.
