It was the gaming smartphones that bring the refresh rate concept to the industry. Later the flagships around the globe adopted that concept, and today it is becoming a trend. In most cases, a 120 Hz refresh rate is enough and considered the industry standard, but Nubia thinks otherwise. Recently the gaming smartphone manufacturing company announced its Red Magic 5G having a 144 Hz refresh rate.
Specifications of the Smartphone
The high refresh rate is not the only major highlight of the phone. The phone has 6.65 inches AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution. The bezels are extremely slim, and you can enjoy a truly full-screen experience. Besides, the smartphone is also offering the latest under the display fingerprint scanner technology. The inclusion of a couple of capacitive shoulder keys seems to be a direct reference from its rival, Asus ROG phone. The gaming smartphone also features a brand new 4D Vibration concept for a better gaming experience.
The smartphone has the latest generation Snapdragon 865 processor that also offers the 5G technology. The smartphone also includes both liquid cooling and fan to prevent the heating effect. The device is available in different RAM variants. You can choose among 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB RAM variants. The company offers only two storage options, 128 GB and 256 GB, but the good part is Nubia is providing UFS 3.0 storage for faster data transfer. Besides, the phone has a massive 4,500 mAh battery, which supports 55W fast charging.
On the camera front, Red Magic 5G has a triple camera setup in the back. The primary sensor is a 64 MP shooter, and it has an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor. In the front, only an 8 MP camera takes care of selfie, which is disappointing. The phone will arrive at a price point of around 550 USD.
