The recent report suggests that the company is planning to launch a foldable version of its upcoming flagship Note 20. The South Korean Smartphone manufacturer recently launched its Galaxy Z Flip with the Galaxy S20 series in February. The foldable smartphone gained more limelight than the flagship Galaxy S20. In fact, the Galaxy Z Flip was the first foldable smartphone, which impressed both experts and the end-users.

According to the report, Samsung has already started working on its future generation foldable devices. The company is considering the foldable smartphone as the future of the industry.
A newly registered patent from the South Korean manufacturer reveals that it is going to launch a foldable Note 20 at some point in time. The patent showcases the presence of S-Pen, which confirms the future development. Currently, Note Series is the only flagship series smartphones that carrying the S-Pen. Therefore, it is confirmed that at least one of the variants of the upcoming Note 20 series will have a foldable screen.
Though the development confirms the future planning of the manufacturer, the implementation timing is still unclear. Many claims that the company might bring the foldable Note Series phone this year, which seems highly unlikely. However, the recent patient will help the company to work on such development without facing any kind of legal consequences.
Besides the foldable smartphone, the company also patented a new screen technology. The technical specification of the device is still known. But, the report suggests that the new screen might launch with the upcoming Galaxy Note 20 series, at the last leg of this year.
