HMD Global is going to launch its new device Nokia 8.2 on the 19th March 2020. The upcoming Nokia 8.2 will become the first-ever 5G device from the company. The company is also planning to launch another couple of devices in the same launch event as well. Rumors suggest that Nokia 5.2 will be one of the two devices to launch on the 19th March. Nokia 5.2 will be a mid-range smartphone, and it is developing the project with a code name of Nokia Captain America. Several reports claim that the other device might be Nokia 5.3. As the release date of these smartphones becoming closer, a number of leaks and rumors are coming out.
Specifications of Nokia 5.3
A new report claims that the upcoming Nokia 5.3 will have a 6.55 inches display. The phone will adopt a relatively tall screen, having an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Previously, the leaked images suggested that the device will have a waterdrop notch in the front.
Either a Snapdragon 660 or 665 will power the upcoming Nokia 5.3. The most expensive variant will have up to 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB ROM. But, the base model will feature 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
The phone will have as many as five cameras, 4 in the back, and one selfie shooter. The waterdrop notch will carry an 8-megapixel sensor, whereas Nokia is opting for a quad-camera setup on the back. The primary shooter will be a 16 MP shooter; besides, it has three other cameras having 8 MP, 5 MP, and 8 MP sensor size. Surprisingly, the Nokia 5.3 excludes the popular 48 MP sensor.
Nokia is offering a massive 4,000 mAh battery with its upcoming device. The 6 GB + 64 GB edition will be available at $180.
