Ridley Scott produced and directed the Napoleon movie in 2023, which is based on the true story of Napoleon Bonaparte. The movie’s writer, David Scarpa, narrated the story of a French Leader who came from nothing to everything and built his empire. The writer also showcased his love life with Empress Josephine.
Plot:
Oscar Winner Joaquin Phoenix played the lead role of Napoleon Bonaparte. Vanessa Kirby played the lead actress role of his love of life, Empress Josephine. The movie is based on the life of the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.
Napoleon fought many wars in his lifetime, and he became emperor in 1804. He then married his love, Josephine, but they had no children. His mother told him that Josephine was infertile, so she could not have his children. He later divorced Josephine in 1810 and married Marie Louise. They had a child together named Napoleon II in 1811.
In 1812, He fought against Russia, lost many of them, and lost the war. In 1814, he lost his love of life, Josephine. He went to the island of Elba, but when he heard the news, he escaped and returned to France. In June 1815, he fought against the army of the Duke of Wellington in Waterloo. When he lost that war, he was sent to the Island of Saint Helena. In 1821, he took his last breath. He loved Josephine all his lifetime.
In this Movie, the director did a great job in the direction of the movie. The storytelling is amazing and all the cast members played their roles well. The sound effects and VFX are on point. The background music is so heart-touching.
