After a month of uncertainty, Apple finally launched its latest iPad Pro Series for 2020. The recently announced iPad Pro Series has a couple of devices, an 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad models. Both these iPads feature Apple’s custom A12Z processor. A day after the release, the 11-inch variant tested on AnTuTu, and the result might surprise you.
In the first impression, it seems like the latest iPhone 11 series feature more powerful processor in comparison to the recently launched iPad Pro Series. As the naming pattern suggests, the A13 should be more potent than the A12Z, but the same is not the case here.
A13 VS A12Z: The Naming Might Confuse You
The A13, used in the iPhone 11 Series has quad-core GPU and Hexa-core CPU. On the other hand, the A12Z has both an Octa-core CPU and an Octa-core GPU. The A12Z is even more powerful than the A12X, which was released with the last year’s iPad Pros. The A12X had an Octa-core CPU and a Seven-core GPU. Though there are several aspects of a processor, purely on the core count, A12Z seems to be the strongest option.
AnTuTu Score of iPad 11 Pro 2020 Edition
Before rushing to the score, let’s discuss the specification of the device listed on the platform. The tested device has 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage. Besides, it was running on the latest iOS 13.4.
The CPU score for the latest edition of the iPad 11 seems to be similar to the last generation iPad Pro. But, one can witness a noticeable increase of 9% in terms of GPU score. The overall AnTuTu score for the device is over 7,00,000, which is around 1,00,000 more than the latest series Snapdragon processor.
