Boeing has granted Air India permission to fly the B777 in the United States. As a result, the first aircraft took off on Thursday morning for JFK International Airport in New York. The airline declared that it will “halt flights to the following US locations beginning January 19, 2022, until further notice.” Emirates has halted service to Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Miami, Newark, Orlando, San Francisco, and Seattle.
Japan Airlines has also halted flights to the United States. The 5G deployment, according to the business, will interfere with the radio wave altimeter fitted on the Boeing 777. As a result, it is canceling its flights into the United States.
